Zero Tolerance

for Abuse

Violations may lead to immediate suspension and, where required, reporting to authorities.

01. Overview & Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs how you and your users may access and use the AirOne platform, websites, APIs, and related services (the “Services”). It supplements, and is incorporated into, our Terms & Conditions.

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to this AUP and are responsible for ensuring every user under your organization complies with it. We may update this AUP from time to time; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

02. Acceptable Use

You may use the Services only for lawful business purposes and in line with these expectations:

  • Use the Services for your organization’s legitimate operations (HR, finance, projects, CRM, and the other modules you subscribe to).
  • Keep your account credentials secure and enable multi-factor authentication where available.
  • Ensure you have a lawful basis and the necessary consents for any personal data you put into the Services.
  • Respect the rights — including intellectual-property and privacy rights — of others.
  • Comply with all applicable Indian laws and the laws of any jurisdiction you operate in.

03. Prohibited Activities

You must not, and must not permit anyone to, use the Services to:

  • Violate any law or regulation, or facilitate any illegal activity.
  • Upload, store, or transmit unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing content.
  • Infringe intellectual-property rights or misappropriate trade secrets.
  • Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or violate anti-spam / e-mail consent rules.
  • Harass, threaten, defraud, or impersonate any person or entity.
  • Process personal data without a lawful basis, or in breach of the DPDP Act 2023.
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide the Services to third parties except as expressly permitted.

04. Security & System Integrity

To protect the platform and every customer on it, you must not:

  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services without our prior written authorization (see our Responsible Disclosure programme).
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data, or bypass authentication or rate limits.
  • Introduce malware, ransomware, or any malicious or self-replicating code.
  • Launch denial-of-service attacks or otherwise interfere with the availability of the Services.
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Services in a way that degrades performance or evades limits.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except to the extent permitted by law.

05. Content & Data Standards

You are responsible for all content and data you and your users upload or generate. You must not store or transmit content that is unlawful under the Information Technology Act 2000 or the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021, including content that:

  • Is sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise exploits or endangers children.
  • Promotes terrorism, violence, or self-harm, or incites hatred against any group.
  • Is knowingly false and intended to deceive, defraud, or cause harm.
  • Discloses another person’s private information without lawful authority or consent.

As an intermediary, AirOne may remove or disable access to content on receipt of a valid legal order or a substantiated complaint, in accordance with applicable law.

06. Fair Use & Resource Limits

The Services are provided on a fair-use basis. Plan limits (storage, pooled-minute allowances and per-minute overage, API rate limits, and similar) apply as described on the Pricing page and in your order.

We may apply rate limiting or temporarily throttle usage that threatens the stability, security, or performance of the platform for other customers. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of sustained limit breaches before taking restrictive action.

07. Enforcement & Suspension

Action we may take

Depending on the severity, we may warn you, remove offending content, throttle or suspend access, or terminate the account. For serious or illegal activity we may suspend immediately and without prior notice, and report it to the relevant authorities (including CERT-In) as required by law.

We will, where practicable and lawful, give you an opportunity to cure a violation. Suspension or termination for an AUP breach does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid.
