App Permissions
Last updated: July 24, 2026
We ask for the least we need, only when we need it.
Every permission is requested at the moment a feature needs it, is optional, and can be revoked at any time from your device settings. Denying a permission only disables that one feature — the rest of AirOne keeps working.
Camera & Photos / Files
Capture or upload documents, receipts, and a profile photo, and scan codes for attendance or verification.
When: Only when you tap to take a photo, scan, or attach a file.
Push Notifications
Alert you to approvals, task assignments, messages, and reminders.
When: When enabled; you can mute or disable them anytime in device settings.
Location
Geo-tag attendance and field check-ins where your organisation uses those features.
When: Captured only at the moment you check in — never tracked in the background.
Network access (required)
The app needs an internet connection to sync your workspace. All traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.3.
Granting & Revoking Permissions
On iOS
Settings → AirOne → toggle Camera, Photos, Location or Notifications.
On Android
Settings → Apps → AirOne → Permissions → adjust each permission.
Permissions may change as features grow
As we add capabilities, the app may request additional permissions (for example microphone or contacts). We will always request them at runtime, explain why in-app, and update this page and our Data Safety disclosure before doing so.
